Every dwelling shall have supplied water heating facilities properly installed and maintained in a safe and good working condition and properly connected with the hot water lines required under the provisions of section 244.320 . The hot water heating facilities required by this section shall be of a capacity and so maintained and operated as to permit, with normal use, an adequate supply of water to be drawn at any required kitchen sink, hand lavatory, bathtub or shower and to maintain the temperature of said water at not less than one hundred twenty (120) degrees Fahrenheit at the fixture. Multiple dwellings containing six (6) dwelling units or less shall be deemed to have an adequate supply of hot water when such multiple dwellings are equipped with a water heater capable of providing twenty (20) gallons of hot water per dwelling unit per hour.
