Plain English

Under Bellevue, Neb., Code of Ordinances ch. 15, art. V § 15-157, all exits in rooming houses, second-class dwellings, hotels, and nursing homes must meet the standards set out in § 15-49(K) as well as applicable state and local building codes, fire regulations, and nursing-home rules. The provision establishes a layered compliance framework, meaning exit requirements are drawn from multiple regulatory sources rather than a single standard. This rule applies to the physical design and maintenance of exit pathways in these specific types of residential and lodging facilities.
