Plain English — not legal advice.
Bellevue, Neb., Code of Ordinances ch. 15, art. IV § 15-86 sets ongoing maintenance standards that compliant property operators generally meet by routinely inspecting retaining walls for structural deterioration and repairing defects promptly. For sidewalks and patios, operators typically address hazards such as holes, uneven joints, and obstructions as they arise, and establish a winter protocol for timely ice and snow removal. Keeping records of inspections and maintenance work can help demonstrate that a property is being managed in accordance with this provision.
