For Property Managers

Under Fulton, N.Y., Code of Ordinances ch. 475 § 475-60.3, compliant property operators routinely inspect exterior elements—railings, siding, windows, and retaining walls—to ensure they meet the code's matching, repair, and cleanliness standards. Operators typically replace broken shingles or siding with like materials of matching color, address any accumulated dirt, grime, or mold on non-wood siding promptly, and ensure window screens are installed and in good repair between April 1 and November 1 each year. When white primer is applied to siding, a matching paint color is generally applied within the 10-day window specified by the ordinance, and any compromised asbestos siding is handled through full removal, replacement, or encapsulation with non-asbestos material.

For Tenants
