For Property Managers

Under § 176-3, compliant property owners and managers in Hornell apply consistent, non-discriminatory criteria when evaluating applicants for the sale, lease, or rental of any housing accommodation or unimproved land. Operators generally review their advertising materials, application forms, and written policies to ensure no language—direct or indirect—reflects any limitation based on protected characteristics such as race, sex, marital status, physical disability, or national origin.
