Property owners and managers operating in New York City should be aware that N.Y.C. Admin. Code §§ 8-101 & 8-132 establishes a publicly available resource on the Commission on Human Rights' website covering sexual harassment rights and complaint procedures. Compliant operators typically familiarize themselves with these resources to understand the legal standards and complaint pathways that apply to housing-related interactions. Referencing the Commission's online materials can help operators stay current on what conduct is prohibited and what retaliation protections exist under local law.
