Plain English — not legal advice.
Under ch. 12 § 12-91, compliant property operators routinely inspect exterior walls, roofs, windows, doors, and chimneys for signs of water infiltration, heat loss, dry rot, or general deterioration. When damaged or deteriorated materials are identified, operators arrange for timely repair or replacement and ensure refinished areas conform to the surrounding structure. Maintaining documentation of inspections and completed repairs is a common practice among operators managing properties subject to this provision.
