For Property Managers

Under Syracuse Rev. Gen. Ord. ch. 27, art. 12 § 27-178, the administrative policies and procedures that govern day-to-day compliance with this article are set by a designated city committee, not solely by the ordinance text itself. Operators who manage rental property in Syracuse generally stay current with any supplemental policies filed with the City Clerk's Office, since those documents can affect how the article's requirements are interpreted and applied. Checking the City Clerk's Office periodically for updated filings is a common practice among compliant property managers.
